Believe it or not, this was once a ring...although it doesn't look like it was a valuable one by any means. However, it sure has been mangled by passing traffic. Possibly the love that it once represented was also mangled and that was how it ended up by the side of the road. We've all seen those movie scenes where the crazy lady passenger throws her ring out of the car window, usually following some dramatic breakup. This one is missing the center stone...maybe it was discarded by a clever woman who knew that the value was in the 'big rock' and she carefully and sneakily removed it prior to the drama of the ring toss out the window...you never know? could happen...
